The Orbit Beers team will be @thestarbyhackneydowns This Friday the 17th May from 6pm.
They will be on hand with taster samples of the 3 beers on tap: Nico Koln Lager, Ivo Pale Ale and Cola Sour from 6pm. (Tasting notes below)

Cola Sour – Collab With Steep Soda – 4.2%
Orbit Beers’ Cola Sour was brewed in collaboration with Steep Soda Co. Based in Manchester, Steep co-founders Liam and Laura produce handcrafted, all-natural sodas with freshly pressed juice and fairtrade ingredients. As big fans of their Cola, we were really excited to collaborate with Steep to produce a cola-inspired sour beer for spring.
Infusing Steep Soda’s mastery of natural cola flavours with our traditional sour beer base, the result is a harmonious blend of tartness intertwined with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and citrus. Evoking fond memories of cola bottle sweets, this refreshing beer offers a journey through familiar yet elevated flavours.
Nico Koln Style Lager (Kolsch) 4.8% (Vegan & Gluten Free)
Multi-award-winning Nico is a sophisticated Köln-style Lager that offers delicate, perfectly-balanced flavours of bready malts and herbal hops that are synonymous with the Kölsch style. It has a soft bitterness with a crisp, thirst-quenching dry finish, and low carbonation to pair perfectly with food. Look for green apple and pear drop notes from the distinctive Kölsch yeast.

Ivo pale Ale 4.5% (Vegan)
Named for the founder of one of our favourite Independent record labels – 4AD. A man who’s name also inspired the opening track (Ivo) from 4AD band Cocteau Twins’ third album – Treasure. Lovely golden colour with tropical guava, peach, pine and light citrus on the nose & the palate. Intensely hoppy, with oats for a smooth mouthfeel, & a dry bitter finish.
