Whether it’s the Hackney Downs park on our doorstep, our fairground decor or our range of cocktails and craft beer, we pride ourselves on being a pub for the Hackney community.
Come on over and see for yourself why our community makes us the heart of Hackney Downs.
It doesn’t matter whether you take a seat inside or enjoy the great outdoors with our covered and heated terrace over looking the park – you’re sure to be one of our regulars in no time, or if you want to enjoy your beer in the park we offer takeaway cups!
No pub is complete without man’s best friend – we’re not just dog friendly, we have a doggy wall of fame, offer free treats and once a year host our very own doggy show – move aside Crufts!

The Perfect Place for a Pint.
We may even have a few select celebrity locals who join us from time to time (we of course won’t spill the beans – you’ll have to visit us to find out). We put our success of being the best pub in Hackney downs to the great staff and the tasty food of our kitchen partners Planet Patty, who serve a selection of amazing burgers and the best Sunday Roasts.
